Patient was brought to us at around age 20. He had brain damage due to Bilirubin Encephalopathy (Kernicterus) after birth. Before G Therapy he had great difficult in movement and could not sit without support for even short times. He was fed in horizontal position only. After G Therapy, he started responding immediately within a few months and improvements were seen in facial expressions, involuntary movements and for the first time in his life he could sit in a wheelchair and move around and experience the world outside.
Improvements typically vary from patient to patient, and range from moderate to significant, but in any case come as a major relief to patients and caretakers alike, improving the quality of life.
