Allergic bronchitis is a type of respiratory disorder commonly referred to as allergic asthma. The immune system of a person suffering from allergic asthma is hypersensitive because of which it may react even to harmless substances entering the body. Allergic bronchitis is closely related to asthma and respiratory allergy and can lead to conditions such as hay fever and allergic rhinitis.
In the allopathic system of medicine, some of the medicines available for allergic bronchitis include bronchodialators, antiallergics, and antibiotics which are given for symptomatic relief of the symptoms.
Our homeopathic combination treatment has shown excellent results in a few cases of asthma. The treatment is guided by the following principles:

2. the body's allergic tendencies should be reduced
3. mucous congestion should be reduced

Following are some case studies of improvements in allergic bronchitis with our homeopathic treatment:
1. A child "MYS", age 3 years, came in December '08 with complaints of recurrent cold and cough every 15 days, which used to get converted into wheezing, breathlessness and then fever. He had to take antibiotics and nebulization (sometimes with steroids). He was diagnosed by the paediatrician as having childhood asthma. After starting homoeopathic medicines, recurrence of asthma reduced to once in a month, and the severity and intensity reduced, as symptoms came within control in 2 days time. HE HAS NOT TAKEN ANTIBIOTICS OR NEBULISATION IN THE LAST 5 MONTHS AFTER STARTING HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINES.
2. A child "GKG", age 9 years, came in November '05 diagnosed as having Down Syndrome with Bronchial Asthma. He used to complain of breathlessness, nose block and chest congestion since his childhood. He was on regular inhalers and frequently on antibiotics. After 6 months of homoeopathic medicines, his inhalers and antibiotics reduced to almost once a month. After 3 ½ yrs of medicines now inhalers and antibiotics are reduced to only instances of major climatic changes. Symptomatically he has less breathlessness and nose blockages.
3. A patient Mr. "PC", age 62 years, was diagnosed with Chronic Allergic Bronchitis in November '06 with symptoms of breathlessness, heavy sensation in the chest, and lot of mucous production. He was often on antibiotics and inhalers and regularly on antiallergic and mucolytics. After starting homoeopathic medicines symptoms of breathlessness and heaviness reduced in 3 months time. He was only on antiallergics and mucolytics and no antibiotics and inhalers. After 2 ½ yrs of homoeopathic medicines, he has not needed any allopathic medicines in the last 3 months and has been without any symptoms of breathlessness.
4. A patient Mrs. "JS" age 33 years was diagnosed with Bronchial Asthma in 1996. She came for treatment in April '06 with symptoms of frequent and severe asthmatic attacks. She used to feel uneasy while sleeping, walking, and had a feeling of breathlessness and discomfort. She was on bronchodialators and steroid inhalers twice a day. After starting homoeopathic medicines, within 3 months time her asthmatic attacks reduced and she was only taking bronchodialators and no daily steroids were needed. Steroid inhalers were needed only occasionally. Breathlessness reduced on sleeping and walking. Then, after almost 2 years of our homeopathic treatment, she was taking bronchodialator inhalers once in 20 or 25 days, mainly on climatic changes. She stopped taking our homeopathic medicines for 1 year, but she still needed inhalers only once a week in that period. She has now started our homeopathic medicine again in the last 1 month, and no breathlessness and heaviness was experienced in the last 1 month.
5. A child "VP', age 15 months came in May '08 with complaints of recurrent cold and cough, with a lot of chest congestion and an attack of pneumonitis at the age of 10 months. She used to take antibiotics almost once in 15 days. After 1 year of homoeopathic medicines recurrence of cold and cough reduced almost to once in 3 months, and the attacks settled down most of the times without any antibiotics. Her immunity against the infection has improved a lot.
